Abdullah brings to BA Group of companies the extensive knowledge of the civil and structural design, office administration, construction management, project planning as well as project implementation of various types of buildings and infrastructure projects. Abdullah holds a Master of Science Degree in Concrete Structures from Imperial College, London. He is also a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia.

He began his illustrious career with Public Works Department (PWD), Malaysia in 1979. He has served many departments in the PWD in various capacities such as Designer, Project Engineer to a District Engineer. During his 16 years tenure at PWD, he also lectured and disseminated his experience to the young engineers at the Public Works Institute, Malaysia.

Abdullah also held various positions in the PNB subsidiaries and finally became the General Manger of Prolintas and later as the CEO of Percon Corporation, a notable Malaysian government-linked construction company. During his tenure at Percon he planned and oversaw the construction and operation of two major tolled highways in the Klang Valley on a Build Operate and Transfer (BOT) Concept. He also sat on the Board of Directors of many of its subsidiaries and associate companies.

He has accumulated valuable experience working oversea when he joined a Singapore based Engineering company where he is entrusted with the task of leading a Project Management Team to undertake the implementation of the Jatrabari – Gulistan Flyover Project in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
